Draw details
Spirit bears are as rare and wondrous as the temperate rainforest they inhabit on the coast of British Columbia. The contest winner will have the chance to watch and photograph these white bears in the traditional territory of the Gitga’at First Nation.
The draw is for one participant for a 5-Day spirit bear trip at half the normal price.
Trip Date: The half-price trip will be during the second or third week of September, 2018. The specific trip dates will be confirmed before the winner is announced.
Draw Date: The contest closes at 11:59pm on Feb 28, 2018. The winner will be announced on March 1, 2018.
Eligibility: Everyone, except Tim’s family.
What is the actual cost of the winning trip?
- The full value of the trip is $4210 +5% GST (Canadian dollars)
- The draw winner will pay just $2105 + 5% GST (Canadian dollars)
- Included: Return water taxi service from Prince Rupert to Hartley Bay and all guiding, food, and lodging upon arrival in Hartley Bay
- Not included: Travel to prince Rupert from Vancouver, hotels and meals in Prince Rupert (approximate cost $900)
If I travelled with you in 2017 – or if I book a trip for 2018 – can I still enter the contest?
Yes, if you booked a trip with us in 2017 and you win the contest, you can ask for a retroactive refund on your 2017 trip, or join us again in 2018 for half price. Likewise, if you have booked and paid for a trip with us in 2018, you are also eligible for a refund on that trip if you win the contest.
Note that 2018 prices may change without notice.
